"It's impossible for me to remember how many times I have gone on diets. Not just to lose weight but to feel better. Well my problem was not just staying on the diet but remembering to eat. What I would do was I would get bored with the foods that I was suppose to eat so I would just stop eating. Needless to say I would make myself ill and on top of that I would not loss weight.

I decided this time I would get a food coach. After looking at several sites and talking with several coaches I decided I wanted to work with Audrey. Not only do I agree with many of her ideas about eating I appreciate her passion and the energy she brings into what she is doing. She is caring, dependable, open, passionate, a team player and the list could go on. With her help I was able to learn the best ways that worked for me to be successful with my eating. When there were weeks that did not go as well she would never discourage me and would work to find other ideas that may work for the following week. If I had questions between our sessions she was always responsive.

When I started working with Audrey I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, constipation problems, obesity and Candida. I have lost 42 pounds, no longer have high blood pressure and my cholesterol is close to normal range. All without medication."

"I was a bit apprehensive about working with a "coach" as I am very independent; I like to figure things out on my own and I'm generally wary of having others "tell me what to do". But I came to a point where I needed more support with the process of changing my diet and learning to eat raw.

I was drawn to Audrey's accepting and encouraging nature. I feel safe to be more open because she is so non-judgmental. She is also respectful of the pace at which I want to move.

Audrey is a great inspiration and role model of someone successful and happy eating this way. She understands the connection between food and emotions and she has tools and strategies for this lifestyle. She has pointed me to the right resources at various times -- books, web sites, prepared foods I can find locally, and easy recipes. Things I never would've thought of or found on my own. She also helped me with ways to become more aware of my emotions and fulfill my wants and needs with positive things other than food. I have read about emotional eating before and understood it intellectually, but Audrey's support helps me make real connections in my life and be able to start making changes.

With Audrey's help the past few months, I've made a lot of progress. I understand myself and my relationship with food better. I was recently able to complete a goal of one month all-raw and am excited to continue on the path of holistic health.

"Audrey is an inspiration to anyone aspiring to eat RAW. She is full of so much information and I consider her a 'pro' at what she does. 'What does she do?' you ask? 'What are the benefits to a RAW food coach?'

As a person who has struggled and struggled to maintain a raw food diet -- I felt the need to look outside myself for assistance. I needed help -- I needed a coach! I found Audrey on Alissa Cohen's "rawfoodtalk" website. There are other coach's but after reading Audrey's own website and talking with her on the phone I knew I had made the right connection. She is SO kind. From the first time you hear her voice, you will know this (or feel it). She is SO knowledgeable about raw foods and nutrition in general. She knew the answers to whatever questions I posed. And she is SO 'there' for you.

I went through a rough time emotionally trying to get RAW and Audrey could not have done more. She was willing to help me achieve my goals with whatever it took on her part. She wanted to know that I was doing okay. She helped me to get to the RAW place I am currently at and I know if I want to go more RAW she would be there to help me again. I was first diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome 13 years ago and I suffered with the condition for about 3 years before I was diagnosed. It affected every part of my life and drastically reduced the quality of life, so when I found out about the healing benefits of raw foods 8 years ago it was like a breath of fresh air. As a result of this discovery my health and the quality of my life significantly improved. Unfortunately I struggled with my new diet and constantly Yo-Yo'ed between cooked and raw eating with the cooked periods gradually getting longer. A few months ago due to continuing poor health I decided that I need to move to a permanent 100% raw diet and fortunately I stumbled upon Audrey's website soon after. I'd never heard of a raw food coach before, but I wish that I'd known years earlier that it's possible to receive support and guidance with what is a difficult and often very challenging lifestyle change. I've been 100% raw for over 10 weeks without any cheating and I know this would not have been possible without the the advice, help and support that Audrey has offered. Having someone to talk to through my difficult transitioning period and receiving advice and encouragement on a weekly basis has made all the difference. Audrey has always been very supportive, generous and understanding offering advice and guidance when I've needed it. I have also been able to draw inspiration from her own recovery from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and look forward to experiencing the same levels of health and well being in the near future.
